WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that $45,646 has been awarded to the Columbiana County Airport Authority by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The federal funds will be used to rehabilitate the taxiway and apron at Columbiana County Airport.
“This is great news for Columbiana County,” Brown said. “These improvements will ensure the capacity of Columbiana County Airport. These federal dollars will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
Columbiana County Airport is a general aviation airport associated with East Liverpool and operated by the Columbiana County Airport Authority.
