WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that $137,843 has been awarded to the City of Delaware by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The federal funds will be used rehabilitate the runway at Jim Moore Field Airport in Delaware.
“This is great news for Delaware County,” Brown said. “These improvements will enhance the capacity of the Jim Moore Field Airport. These federal dollars will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
Jim Moore Field Airport is a general aviation airport located in Delaware.
