WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that $228,707 has been awarded to the Madison County Airport Authority and Madison County Commissioners by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The federal funds will be used to install weather reporting equipment and rehabilitate the taxiway at Madison County Airport in London.

“This is great news for Madison County,” Brown said. “These improvements will enhance the capacity of the Madison County Airport.  These federal dollars will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”

Madison County Airport is a general aviation airport associated with London.
