WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that $138,618 has been awarded to the Pickaway County Airport Authority and Pickaway County Commissioners by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The federal funds will be used to install perimeter fencing at the Pickaway County Memorial Airport in Circleville.
“This is great news for Pickaway County,” Brown said. “These improvements will enhance the capacity of the Pickaway County Memorial Airport. These federal dollars will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
Pickaway County Memorial Airport is a general aviation airport associated with Circleville.
