WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) – ranking member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs – today applauded news that Barclaycard US will open a new customer contact center in Hamilton’s Vora Technology Park. According to Barclaycard US, the center will hire 250 employees in 2016 and will employ up to 1,500 employees once it is fully operational.

“I’m glad Barclaycard US has committed to bringing full-time jobs with fair benefits to the Hamilton community,” said Brown. “This addition to Vora Technology Park will spur economic development in the region and provide new opportunities for local residents.”

Barclaycard US has announced that it plans to provide employees with benefits including health and dental insurance, vision coverage, and a retirement plan.
