BRUNSWICK, Ohio – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) attended the ribbon cutting for PWC Group’s new headquarters in Brunswick today. Prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony, Brown toured the company and met with leadership and employees.

“Today’s celebration of PWC Group’s new headquarters is another success story for Ohio manufacturing,” Brown said. “Companies like PWC Group understand the value in investing in Ohio workers, and by embracing sustainable technology, PWC Group is also working to maintain our state’s tradition of manufacturing for years to come.”

Brown was joined at the ribbon cutting by Mr. Ansir Junaid, the company’s Chairman and CEO, and a native of Cleveland.

“We are a national group of socially and environmentally responsible companies. Sustainability, workplace diversity, and a dynamic team environment are at the core of everything we do,” said Mr. Junaid.

PWC Group, whose subsidiaries include Prime Woodcraft, Inc, and SupplySideUSA, Inc., estimates that the new 100,000 square-foot headquarters will create 100 new jobs. Leadership at PWC Group has also announced plans to open new facilities in Ohio over the next three years, creating an estimated 200 jobs.
