WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following an anti-Semitic act in which a sign at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati was vandalized with a swastika, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) released the following statement:

“This display of anti-Semitic vandalism and intimidation is reprehensible and has no place in Ohio. I am heartened to see the Cincinnati community rally around Hebrew Union College, and I encourage all Ohioans to stand against hate and injustice wherever they see it.”
