WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced the launch of his latest Web site feature entitled “Sherrod Working for Ohio.” On this Senate Web page, constituents can access county-specific information on Brown’s work in each of Ohio’s 88 counties.

“This is another step toward making my Web site a virtual office for Ohioans,” said Brown. “After hosting community roundtables in all of Ohio’s 88 counties, I know how important it is for Ohioans to discuss local issues with their federal representatives. I hope this new feature helps put government in the hands of Ohioans.”

This new Web page is a fast, easy way for Ohioans to get information on Brown’s visits to each of Ohio’s 88 counties. The site contains a large “rollover” map of Ohio. By pointing a computer mouse over a county, a visitor can obtain pop-up information on that county. Clicking on a county gives a brief description of Brown’s events in that area.

Brown has held more than 125 roundtable discussions in all of Ohio’s 88 counties. Earlier this year, Brown launched “My Ohio Matters,” a first-of-its kind Senate Web feature allowing constituents to create accounts and track the issues most important to them.
