WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met this week with representatives of  Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF), including Holland residents Ian and Laura Cichy, and Andrew Ritz. The representatives attended Brown’s weekly coffee with constituents during their visit to Washington, D.C.

“It was an honor to meet with such strong representatives of the Immune Deficiency Foundation,” Brown said. “They deserve enormous praise for their advocacy for individuals living with immunodeficiency diseases.”

For over thirty years, the IDF has dedicated itself to improving the overall quality of life for people with primary immunodeficiency diseases – a group of more than 250 rare, chronic disorders in which part of the body’s immune system is missing or functions improperly.
