WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met this week with Genesis Rocks, a Mount Gilead native and volunteer with the Friends Committee on National Legislation.

“We must pursue policies that protect our environment for future generations,” said Brown. “Advocates like Genesis are critical to our efforts to address climate change. It was great to meet young adults so invested in the health of our globe.”

The Friends Committee on National Legislation is a civic and charitable organization committed to addressing climate change. Genesis is a student at Wilmington College.
