WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met members of the Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission including John Hemmings of Waverly. The members met Brown during his weekly coffee with constituents while in Washington, D.C. to attend the Development District Association of Appalachia Conference.

“It was great to see John,” said Brown. “John’s work with the Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission will benefit his neighbors in Pike County and all southern Ohioans.”

The Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission is a public regional planning commission dedicated to regional economic and community development. The Commission coordinates federal, state, and local resources to encourage development in 12 southern Ohio counties including Adams, Brown, Clermont, Fayette, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto, and Vinton.
