WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to news of the U.S. Air Force reorganization, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) released the following statement.

“The Air Force’s decision to locate two of its five lead centers at Wright Paterson reflects what the base’s workforce and community supporters have long known: that WPAFB has a world-class team that is poised to help the AF address the threats, challenges, and opportunities that our nation faces. Maintaining the Air Force Research Lab in Dayton is a sign of the high-quality workforce and top-notch research and development. The new Life Cycle Management Center will utilize the existing expertise that will solidify the Miami Valley’s position as a national leader in aerospace and defense.”
