Brown Statement on the Passing of Mike Oxley

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following the death of former U.S. Rep. Mike Oxley, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) released this statement:

“My heart goes out to the friends and family of Mike Oxley. Mike was a tireless advocate for his constituents and a loyal colleague. Knowing him for many years, I not only worked with him in Columbus and Washington, but used to play basketball with him and baseball against him. It was always better to be on the same side. ‎ He was a competitive and decent man who believed in fair play.”
