Brown Statement on the Resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions

CLEVELAND, OH — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) released the following statement today after Jeff Sessions resigned as Attorney General at the request of President Trump.

“No one is above the law, not even the President,” Brown said. “Our justice system is bigger than any one political party, and the FBI, Justice Department and Special Counsel must be allowed to do their jobs without political interference.”
