LOGAN, Ohio – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) – the first Ohioan on the Senate Agriculture Committee in more than 40 years – visited the Keynes Brothers Mill in Hocking County today. Brown met with workers and company leadership, and toured the facility.

“Family businesses like Keynes Brothers have strengthened our communities and are key to our state’s economic success,” Brown said. “I’m dedicated to helping all Ohio companies grow their business and invest in new opportunities for our workers and manufacturing communities.”

Keynes Brothers is a fifth-generation family-owned business. It still operates out of its original building constructed in 1869 processing Ohio soft red winter wheat from central Ohio farms for commercial bakeries.
