WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown today announced $1,000,000 in federal funding for Gallia-Meigs Regional Airport to rehabilitate a runway. The Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the funding.

“Support for community airports is key to the safety of travelers and the flow of commerce,” said Brown. “This award will give Gallia-Meigs Regional Airport the resources to make needed improvements that will benefit those that rely on the local airport and its services.”

The $1,000,000 award will fund the rehabilitation of 4,000 feet of runway.
