WASHINGTON, DC –U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced today that Lorain County Health & Dentistry, a healthcare organization dedicated to providing care to the underserved, received new resources from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to support and develop primary care health services.
“Community health centers play a vital role in helping Ohioans obtain access to primary and preventive health care services,” said Brown. “These new federal resources will help Lorain County Health & Dentistry provide affordable and accessible health care to more of Lorain County’s children, seniors, and parents.”
Allocated through the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Health Center Cluster program, the grant will provide $1,080,554 to the organization.
