WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced $104,210 in federal resources for Fulton County Airport in Wauseon to make improvements that will help increase efficiency and safety. The Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the funding.

“Support for community airports is key to the safety of travelers and the flow of commerce,” said Brown. “This award will give Fulton County the resources to make needed improvements that will benefit those that rely on the local airport and its services.”

The $104,210 award will improve the airport’s visual guidance system by funding the replacement of the airport's Runway 27 end identifier lights.
