WASHINGTON, DC –U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced today that Health Partners of Western Ohio, a group of medical centers serving Allen, Clark, and Hardin Counties, received new resources from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to support and develop primary care health services.

“Community health centers play a vital role in helping Ohioans obtain access to primary and preventive health care services,” said Brown. “These new federal resources will help Health Partners of Western Ohio provide affordable and accessible health care to more of Allen, Clark, and Hardin Counties’ children, seniors, and parents.”

Allocated through the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Health Center Cluster program, the grant will provide $1,179,396 to the organization.
