WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that Northeast Ohio Regional Airport in Jefferson has been awarded $302,094 by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to conduct a Wildlife Hazard Assessment and update the airport’s Master Planning documents.
“This is great news for Northeast Ohio,” Brown said. “These improvements will enhance safety at Northeast Ohio Regional Airport and ensure its long-term development. These federal dollars will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
