WASHINGTON D.C. - U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced today that Ashland County Airport Authority and Ashland County Commissioners will receive $529,618 in federal funds to rehabilitate the north/south taxiway at Ashland County Airport. The grant has been awarded by the U.S. Department of Transportation's (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

"These funds are not only an investment in our transportation infrastructure, but an investment in good-paying jobs and economic development for Ashland," said Brown.

The rehabilitation of the north/south taxiway will maintain the structural integrity of the pavement.
