Sen. Brown Announces More Than $600,000 for Medical Research at Ohio Universities

Case Western Reserve University, the University of Cincinnati, and the Ohio State University to Receive Funds

WASHINGTON D.C. - U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that Case Western Reserve University, the University of Cincinnati and the Ohio State University will receive $600,381 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to fund health and medical research projects.

"These funds will ensure that our research institutions have the resources they need to produce cutting-edge scientific developments," Brown said. "These grants will help keep Ohio at the forefront of research development and will promote economic development."
