WASHINGTON D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that $91,809 was awarded to the City of New Philadelphia to rehabilitate the apron at the Harry Clever Field Airport in Tuscarawas County. The U.S. Department of Transportation funds were awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration.

“Ohio’s small businesses, agricultural operations, and families depend on regional airports,” Brown said. “These funds will help to ensure that efficient and safe operations at Harry Clever Field continue to bolster the region’s economic vitality.”

The Harry Clever Field Airport is a publicly owned airport.
