Sen. Brown Announces Nearly $100,000 in New Federal Resources to Improve Toledo Executive Airport

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that Toledo Executive Airport has been awarded $99,000 by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to install a visual guidance system for Runway 14/32 that will help pilots fly in safely.

“This federal investment is great news for the region and will enhance safety at Toledo Executive Airport,” Brown said. “These improvements will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”

Toledo Executive Airport, which is operated by the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, serves as the reliever airport for Toledo Express Airport.
