WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that Madison County Airport in London has been awarded $219,172 by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) for crack sealing and repairs of three airport aprons, two taxiways, and one runway. The funding will also be used for milling and overlay of a separate airport apron.

“This is great news for Madison County,” Brown said. “These improvements will enhance safety at Madison County Airport. These federal dollars will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
