WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that Putnam County Airport has been awarded $34,587 by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to rehabilitate the pavement on Runway 9/27 and to seal pavement cracks on the airport’s connector taxiways.

“This federal investment is great news for the region and will enhance operations at Putnam County Airport,” Brown said. “These improvements will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
