Sen. Brown Announces Nearly $880,000 in New Federal Resources to Improve Butler County Airport

Butler County Regional-Hogan Field Airport Will Use Department of Transportation Funding to Repair Apron

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that Butler County Regional-Hogan Field Airport in Hamilton has been awarded $878,677 by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to repair 12,000 square yards of asphalt on the terminal apron to maintain its structural integrity.

“This is great news for Butler County,” Brown said. “These improvements will enhance safety at Butler County Regional-Hogan Field Airport. These federal dollars will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
