WASHINGTON, D.C. — A new master plan will be created to explore future development at the Findlay Airport in Hancock County. U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that new federal resources were awarded to the City of Findlay to update the layout plan at the Findlay Airport.

“Findlay Airport is vital to keeping commerce and recreational aviation alive in Northwest Ohio,” Brown said. “This funding will ensure that Findlay Airport can continue to serve the needs of both businesses and travelers in Hancock County.”

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration awarded $143,907 to the City of Findlay to conduct an airport master plan study.

Findlay Airport, a publicly-owned general aviation airport, is located in Hancock County.
