WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met with Alexis Cook of Cincinnati last week, a representative from Foster Club, a national network for youth in the foster care system. Ms. Cook attended his weekly coffee with constituents where she discussed the importance of providing services for young people in foster care once they turn 18 and “age out” of the system.

“It was an honor to meet with Ms. Cook of Foster Club,” Brown said. “Foster Club does extremely important work in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of America’s foster youth.”

Foster Club provides an online community to connect youth in foster care to resources, training events, and other kids in foster care.  For more information about Foster Club, please visit https://www.fosterclub.com/article/about-us.
