WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met this week with Planned Parenthood Generation Action members Cecilia Ellis of Cleveland and M. Alex Kaufmann of Fairview Park. Ellis and Kaufmann met with Brown during his weekly coffee with constituents.

“It’s critical that we protect women’s health care,” said Brown. “Young advocates like Cecilia and Alex are critical to our efforts to expand access to preventive health care and education.

Planned Parenthood’s youth advocacy organization, Generation Action, works to promote reproductive rights through youth organizing, leadership development, voter engagement programs, training, and providing resources to young people.

Brown is a strong advocate for women’s rights and access to health care.
