WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met with Grant Price, a resident of Tiffin, and collegiate member of the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association (OCWGA). Mary, along with other collegiate Ohio members of OCWGA, attended Brown’s weekly coffee with constituents while in Washington D.C. to attend the National Corn Growers Congress.

“It was an honor to meet with Grant and his fellow Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association members,” Brown said. “I am proud to advocate for Ohio agriculture, which helps put food on our tables and provide clean energy for vehicles nationwide.”

Brown is the first Ohioan to serve on the Senate Agriculture Committee in nearly 50 years. In 2014, he was part of the Senate Farm Bill Conference Committee that successfully negotiated a five-year farm bill that had been stalled for more than three years.
