WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met this week with Ohio ophthalmologists from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, including Dr. Carl Minning of Zanesville.

“Eye care is critical to Ohioans’ overall health,” said Brown. “These eye doctors are committed to providing quality eye care to their patients and improving research so we can continue to advance eye health in the United States.”

The ophthalmologists met with Brown during his weekly constituent coffee. During their visit to Washington, D.C., the ophthalmologists awarded Brown with their “Visionary Award” and thanked him for his support of repealing and replacing the Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR).
