WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that Greene County-Lewis A. Jackson Regional Airport in Xenia has been awarded $134,749 by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to repair a parking lot and to remove tree obstructions affecting pilots’ transition or approach to Runway 7/25.

“This is great news for Greene County," Brown said. “These improvements will enhance safety and safety at Greene County-Lewis A. Jackson Regional Airport. These federal dollars will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
