Senator Brown Announces more than $535,000 in New Federal Resources to Improve Sandusky County Regional Airport

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that Sandusky County Regional Airport in Fremont has been awarded $535,705 by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to repair one runway and one taxiway.

 “This is great news for Sandusky County," Brown said. “These improvements will enhance safety and safety at Sandusky County Regional Airport. These federal dollars will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
